Description
Fast-hardening and fast-setting anchoring mortar, Type GP CS IV Wc1, suitable for carrying out quick fixings and repairs on concrete and masonry supports, indoors and outdoors.
Properties
It has good workability and improved mechanical resistance in the first few hours. As it sets quickly, it allows fixings to be made in a shorter time.
Composition
It has good workability and improved mechanical resistance in the first few hours. As it sets quickly, it allows fixings to be made in a shorter time.
Support
It has good workability and improved mechanical resistance in the first few hours. As it sets quickly, it allows fixings to be made in a shorter time.
Application instructions
- Before mixing the mortar with water, pre-wet the supports and anchors.
- Knead the dry mixture with clean water (180 ml of water/kg of powder) to obtain a homogeneous, lump-free mortar, in accordance with the proportion specified in the technical data.
- The mortar has a very short workability time – 2 to 3 minutes (20ºC), so it should be applied quickly. We recommend that the quantity of mortar to be prepared is in accordance with the time mentioned. When preparing large quantities, it is advisable to use a low-speed mixer.
- The addition of other products may compromise the characteristics of the mortar.
- The addition of water and/or forced mixing of the mortar after it has started to set causes the loss of initial strength and the extension of its curing time.
- Use a trowel, spoon and, in difficult-to-reach cases, gloves. In general, pre-fill the hole with mortar, insert the object to be fixed and quickly fill the entire area.
- In the case of large objects or those that are difficult to immobilize, position and support them beforehand.
- To contain water leaks, knead the mortar and when it starts to set, press it against the leak area until it hardens.
